As the world keeps going, and more individuals take their lap around the sun, the Earth is heating up and constantly going to circumstances people may not realize is as serious as they are.
Human activity is actually seen as the primary cause of the constant rise of global temperatures, which is relevant to today’s society, where people still do not believe that climate change is real.
Though there are solutions trying to be brought up, like the stop of carbon emissions and using more renewable energy, there are still citizens in this country and the next who do not believe that climate change and global warming can be the end of the world for us humans.
This issue of the world heating up has to find a solution quickly, because of the need to preserve the animals, and the fact that the rise of inflation is getting out of hand.
Greta Thunberg has been seen as an unusual individual amongst her speeches about the need to save our planet, however, could it be just because no one wants to actually believe that everything is deteriorating in front of our eyes?
According to the Borgen Project, the global temperatures are seen to increase from 2.6 degrees Celsius to 4.8 degrees Celsius.
Though, these weathers and climates have not just been affecting us humans, but also the animals. As the weather gets hotter, the sea ice for polar bears is breaking at a faster speed, and their habitat is falling apart without their knowledge.
These unfortunate situations also have animals left with less food resources and low chances of reproduction.
When we open the news or just the media these days, people are going on about the inflation of the prices of everyday or simple goods.
Yet, we seem to forget that we are the source of these rising prices. As the supply gets lower due, the demand goes higher. The Atlantic’s article about “The Rise of Greenflation” puts into perfect words that, as productions of natural resources, like wood or lumber, are becoming scarce, the costs are going up.
So, the next time we say that climate change is “nothing” or that it is not important, it is key to remember about the economy as a part of it.
To conclude, the next time we step outside and feel the beaming temperatures on us, and see the news of the prices going up, it is time for us humans to remember the future of the Earth if we do not put an end to climate change quickly.
