Robotics and machines are the future of our occupations, and they will have a major impact on us. Job loss will be at its prime, and machines will replace humans and perform tasks that will venture beyond human capability. Human guardianship, human transportation, and industrial workers are going to be surpassed by our man-made creation. Robots are the replacement of us and our duty.
To begin with, humans have been caring for other humans, but now robotics come into play, and gives the patient further care. These include jobs like doctors, nurses, babysitters, and so on and so on. Let’s say if a surgeon was a robot. If a patient is in critical condition, the machine will have extensive knowledge about the patient‘s current condition and will give precise incisions when necessary. If not, the machine can be more of an assistance to the doctor, and can inform the doctor if there is a problem. The machines are fully capable of giving the requisite care and serving indistinguishably as if a human is doing the job. However, there are certain jobs that robots can’t replace like psychologists or counselors, because as we know, robots don’t have emotion, and doesn’t have the potential to understand what we humans are feeling. Overall, machines will become a huge help to humans and will serve us how they are programmed to serve us. This will save countless of lives, and also will give a companion to the lonely. This will make an effort to stop loneliness. Robots will definitely put a smile on people’s faces. Human care will be revolutionized.
We used to walk everywhere. We evolved so much, but it’s time to evolve more. We already use machines to transport one thing to another. Everything is always moving, but it takes an extended period of time for someone or something to get there. We are always trying to make something faster, and machines have the capability. What we are using right now classifies as a “machine”, but that is on a broad surface. Robots are intelligent, they are computerized to know every single obstacle coming. This will replace many jobs when robots come into play as the operator of the vehicle. Ubers, bus drivers, taxis, pilots, sailors, even maybe our own cars ourselves may be replaced by our machines. This doesn’t guarantee that the ride will be faster, but it will definitely be more safe. A robot will be able to detect if something is wrong with the vehicle, or if the engines are malfunctioning in any kind of way. The fastest route will be calculated to get to the destination, so packages and parcels will be delivered more efficiently. We can go beyond the transportations methods we use right now. It will be as if there is a smarter and more experienced pilot. Transportation will never be easier.
Finally, on broader surfaces, industrial workers, factory workers, common laborers are going to be replaced by machines. There are many layers of manufacturing, different parts of the same process. If we program our machines to do one specific thing, and another robot built for the task it has to complete, our creation can work and collaborate together, making the job done faster and more efficient. Jobs of factory workers are quite grueling, but it is definitely a job that can be replaced by robots, because robots run on batteries, and they do not get tired like humans. The factory jobs are quite simple, and a robot can do simple jobs very efficiently, because as you know, those are the jobs robots do best. This is will generate incredible results from industrial work. However, this will not be kind to the humans that work at industries and factories. There are over 12 million factory worker in the US, which is 9 percent of the workforce. This will cause a huge increase in job loss and it will be at its peak, but is it worth it? Factory workers will be soon be replaced by our creation.
Robots will help humanity in the near future, and it will make a great impact on our jobs. However, will it make a great impact on us? We are already dominated by our technology, and what will this cause? I hope we realize that we need human interaction and we are built for actually doing something, not letting our creations do everything for us. We are continuing to grow in our technology and our inventions, and we may be living care-free in our lives due to that.. But I hope we can grow in ourselves and we can interact with other human beings, other than growing in our creations.
