A woman has been reported by the Glendale Police Department as missing by her family members.
Elaine Park, 20, is a Korean-American who lives in the La Cresenta area. She is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and is about 125lb. Park has brown eyes, long, brown hair with blonde highlights, and wears a lot of make-up. She has a cow skull tattoo on her left arm and an unknown tattoo on her left lower arm. She was enrolled to Pierce College in Woodland Hills but stopped attending starting from this semester.
Park has been missing for almost 6 weeks since January 28th.
Her 2015 Honda Civic was found on the Pacific Coast Highway at Corral Beach on February 2nd. The car key was found with her belongings such as her phone in the vehicle. However, the vehicle was headed not the direction toward her original home but the opposite direction. Her family members reported Park’s missing to the police on January 30th after realizing that Park was not returning home, according to the Glendale police.
She was missing while returning to her home in La Cresenta after having a date with her boyfriend. They met in the afternoon of the 27th and then went to his house in Calabasas. She stayed there until about 4~5 in the morning of the 28th and then left his house. That was the last moment she had been seen.
Officials researched the surrounding areas of the vehicle and everywhere else where Park might have been, but they stopped on the following Saturday, February 4th, after a 3-day search with no signs of her. Her status changed to “critical missing”, according to the Glendale police department.
Although the police researched the vehicle thoroughly, there were no signs of crimes or blood.
Her family is ready to provide anyone with any evidence that clearly helps Park’s situation with a reward of $5,000.
However, for this incident, there were a lot that were revealed already. It is already almost finished. Since this happened about a month ago, there were many evidences that were found. Apple can unlock her phone to see its contents for research purposes. Officials are not able to research the home of Park’s boyfriend properly. The Glendale police department was able to see the recordings of the CCTV near the incident, but they won’t show the evidence. There is also word spreading out about her.
Park' s family necessarily needs the help of the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles. If they seek to help by requesting more research from the Glendale police department and the FBI, all of this mess can be all over with everyone’s happiness.
